Our leathercraft workshops introduce you to the essential techniques used in creating handcrafted leather goods. All levels learn the same core skills, with project difficulty adjusted according to your level. What You Will Learn You will practice the key techniques of traditional leathercraft, including: - Beveling – Rounding and smoothing the edges for a clean, professional finish - Creasing – Adding decorative or structural crease lines to enhance your design - Chiselling – Creating precise stitching holes using prong or diamond chisels - Saddle Stitching – Learning the strongest and most durable hand-stitching method - Edge Polishing & Burnishing – Smoothing and sealing edges for a refined look - Final Finishing – Applying oils, waxes, and treatments to protect and enhance the piece - Leather Alignment – Positioning your pieces correctly What’s Prepared for You To keep your workshop experience smooth and focused, certain steps will be completed by the instructor in advance: - Pattern cutting and leather preparation - Backside/flesh-side leather treatment - Tools and materials setup This allows you to concentrate on hands-on craftsmanship during the session. Levels Beginner: Simple, small projects ideal for first-time learners Intermediate: Projects with more components, stitching lines, or assembly steps Advanced: Larger or multi-layered items with more detailed finishing and techniques What You’ll Take Home - A fully completed handcrafted leather item - Practical skills you can apply to future leathercraft projects - Experience using professional tools and materials - A fun, relaxing creative session suitable for any skill level


Cancellation Policy

Newjleather Workshop Booking Policy Deposit Policy: A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your workshop date and leather color selection. The remaining balance is due on the day of the workshop. Your spot is not secured until the deposit has been received. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 7 days in advance of your scheduled workshop date. Cancellations or changes made within 7 days are not eligible for a refund. The 30% deposit remains non-refundable under all circumstances. Sick Policy: We understand that illness can happen unexpectedly. If you become unwell within 7 days of the workshop, we can offer a partial refund covering only the cost of materials, excluding the deposit. Rescheduling Policy: You may reschedule your booking at least 7 days prior to your workshop date. Age Policy: Workshops are open to participants 15 years of age or older. For younger students, please contact us to inquire about private or family-friendly sessions.
